Accurate!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Iron template on fabric<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Place fabrics right sides together<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Sew on stitching lines<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Cut on solid lines<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Press open<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Start piecing!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>SQangles\u2122 templates are sold by the FINISHED size, the size after it is sewn into the block.\u00a0 Many pattern directions use the 7\/8\u201d formula adding 7\/8\u201d to the cut size in order to have the finished size needed for the block after sewing the diagonal seam.\u00a0 Some patterns add an inch in order to \u201ctrue up\u201d the square.\u00a0\u00a0 To determine which size\u00a0SQangles\u2122\u00a0 to use, look at the pattern to see what size the finished square should be and use that size\u00a0SQangles\u2122 .\u00a0 (For those who prefer to square it up, a larger size\u00a0SQangles\u2122\u00a0 may be used.)<\/p>\n<p>HALF SQUARE TRIANGLES<br \/>\nPlace fabrics right sides together and sew on stitching lines.\u00a0 Rotary cut apart on solid lines to separate and then cut on diagonal lines.\u00a0 With the darkest color on top, set the seam with iron then carefully press open.<\/p>\n<p>QUARTER SQUARE TRIANGLES<br \/>\nPlace two half square triangles, right sides together with fabrics opposite each other and seams parallel.\u00a0 Draw a diagonal line from corner to corner across the seams and sew on the drawn line.\u00a0 Cut away \u00bc\u201d from the seam, open and press.\u00a0 You now have a quarter square triangle the same size as the half squares you started with.<\/p>\n<p>HALF QUARTER SQUARES<br \/>\nSame as the Quarter Square Triangles except use a plain fabric square in place of one of the half squares.<\/p>\n<p>STAMPING INSTRUCTIONS:<br \/>\nSQangles\u2122are designed for multiple use.\u00a0 For best results use a DRY iron set to the WOOL temperature setting.\u00a0 For delicate fabrics use the recommended settings and a pressing cloth between the iron and the template paper.\u00a0 ALWAYS use a DRY iron when stamping heat transfers.\u00a0 We do not recommend using an iron with an automatic shut-off setting because they do not always maintain a constant temperature.<\/p>\n<p>AN ENTIRE SHEET OR STRIPS may be used to make half square triangles.\u00a0 If using strips cut them horizontally (from left to right) in order to sew in a continuous line.\u00a0\u00a0 For scrap quilts sew a row then cut that row away from the stamped fabric and use another fabric for the next row.<\/p>\n<p>PRESS with the lightest color fabric RIGHT SIDE DOWN on ironing surface, place template paper, DESIGN SIDE DOWN on top of WRONG SIDE of fabric.\u00a0 PRESS until all design has been stamped.\u00a0 Heat transfers the design.\u00a0 Use a light hand and let the heat do the work.\u00a0 Try it first with a test design on scrap fabric.\u00a0\u00a0 It is most important that the paper is not moved during the stamping process.\u00a0 Carefully lift a corner and check stamping.\u00a0 When the design is clearly stamped, remove pattern and save for reuse.\u00a0 Each sheet should be good for several stampings.<\/p>\n<p><em>Important: Some batiks are not suitable for use with SQangles\u2122, due to wax used in the dying process.\u00a0 Transfer ink may be permanent on some fabric, we assume no responsibility for any damage to fabrics.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">SQangles<\/span><\/strong>\u2122<br \/>\nP.
